Terms of Use for App Lock - Private Vault

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using the App Lock - Private Vault mobile application (the "Service") operated by App Lock - Private Vault ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service. By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you.
1. Use of the Service and Disclaimer
App Lock - Private Vault is a utility application designed to help you secure access to selected applications on your device.
"As Is" Basis: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the app will function uninterrupted, be error-free, or be 100% secure against professional circumvention.
Security Limitations: While our app utilizes standard Android permissions to overlay a lock screen, we cannot guarantee absolute security against device rooting, safe mode exploits, or forensic data recovery tools. You use the Service at your own risk.
Password/PIN Management: You are solely responsible for remembering your PIN, Pattern, or setting up a recovery method. We do not store your passwords on our servers and cannot recover them for you if you forget them.
2. Advertising and Monetization (IAA & IAP)
The Service is provided free of charge, supported by third-party advertisements. In the future, we may offer In-App Purchases (IAP) to unlock premium features or remove ads.
Third-Party Ads: We use third-party advertising networks (including Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, IronSource, Pangle, Mintegral, and Liftoff) to serve ads. We are not responsible for the content of these ads, or the products/services they promote.
In-App Purchases: If you choose to make an in-app purchase, the transaction is securely handled by the Google Play Store. All purchases are subject to Google Play's payment policies.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including the UI design, code, and graphics) are and will remain the exclusive property of App Lock - Private Vault and its licensors. The app is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, extract the source code, or translate the app without our prior written permission.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the application for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to:
Installing the app on a device you do not own or have the legal right to monitor.
Using the app to harass, track, or spy on others without their explicit consent.
Attempting to interfere with the app's core services or circumvent its security measures.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we, our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation:
Loss of data, images, or media (e.g., if you uninstall the app or reset your phone).
Unauthorized access to your device by third parties.
Any bugs, viruses, or glitches transmitted to or through our Service by any third party.
6. Updates and Changes to the App
